Dreamforce 18 for Community Banks
Everyone here at Arkus knows that I don’t mess around when it comes to my agenda at Dreamforce. One minute you may find me at Moscone West watching a theater presentation about Einstein Analytics. The next, you may find me at the Hilton doing a hands-on training for Pardot, and then you turn around and see me having a good time making noise at the Admin Keynote, but with the evolution of the Financial Services Cloud extending to commercial banking this year, you will definitely find me at one of these sessions.
Financial Services Keynote: Unify the Experience, Unlock Loyalty
This keynote has always been a great session to view how other financial institutions are starting to use the Financial Services Cloud to help manage their personal and business relationships by creating that 360-degree view across all business lines, while breaking down those pesky banking silos. I am particularly interested in learning more about the addition of Commercial Banking to FSC.
Unified Customer Experience on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
The unified customer experience seems to be the main theme of many banking sessions this year. Community banks should attend this breakout just to see how Commercial/PwC pulled together their Commercial, Retail, and Contact Center to deliver that unified view, and also to learn how they are using Referrals in the Financial Services Cloud to cross-sell and upsell across all lines of business.
Unified Banking: Taking it to the Street with CRM Users
Here’s another banking session with the same theme, the unified customer view. These types of sessions are great to attend because you hear directly from a panel of bankers who love to share some insights on how they are using Salesforce to manage their customer relationships. This one offers speakers from Credit Unions and Capital Markets, who will provide some great insight in how similarly they use Salesforce for relationship management.
Banking on You: How Banks Can Thrive by Putting People First
Let’s face it, banks are everywhere. One negative customer interaction could lead to losing that Platinum client to another community bank down the street. Banks are learning they can get ahead of this by becoming a more agile, customer-centric organization by intelligently using their data to build better relationships with their clients. This session will highlight the market shift in banking and discuss how community banks can incorporate their data intelligence to create an agile bank of the future.
Retail Banking on the World’s Most Trusted Enterprise Cloud & Compliance by Design: Winning Back the Trust of Customers
With keywords like “highly secure”, “compliant”, “trust” and “banking” these sessions are a must for all banks concerned with the security of having their client’s personal and financial data in the cloud, and to learn ways to win back clients’ trust in the financial services industry.
Banking: The Practical Realities of Unifying the Bank
Unifying the bank, getting a holistic view of your customer’s personal needs, business alignment and transparency across all lines of business….what more do I need to say? This session will surely deliver if you continue to be interested in learning more about how other banks are using Salesforce to get that complete view of their customers’ personal and professional needs.
Financial Services Cloud Roadmap: Accelerate Your Digital Transformation
The Financial Services Cloud has evolved over the last several years, from a platform designed just for wealth management, to a platform used for Retail and now Commercial Banking. I would want to attend this session not only to hear about what’s next on the roadmap for FSC, but to learn more fun ways to use it to unify the customer experience.
Even More Banking Sessions at Dreamforce 2018
There are so many more banking sessions to choose from, but here are some more that also caught my eye:
- Israel Discount Bank’s Transformation with Financial Services Cloud
- Financial Services Cloud: Fast Time to Market at TD Bank
- Shawbrook Bank: Unifying the bank on FSC
- Cashing in with Customer-Centric Experiences in the Financial sector
- Connecting with the Connected Investor: Wealth Management Made Personal
If you are interested in learning more about the Financial Services Cloud this year at Dreamforce, wear your comfortable shoes. Your agenda will be filled with keynotes, theater sessions, and breakouts each day from areas all around the campus. Many of the sessions are recorded and available to view online after Dreamforce, so don’t worry if you can’t make it or if you decide to have lunch with one of your fellow Community Bank User Group members to talk about ideas on how to help unify your bank and enhance your customer’s experience.
Do you have any other sessions you are excited about attending this year? Feel free to drop them in the comments below, drop us a line in the Success Community, send us a tweet @ArkusInc or chat with me @ScottTSearle. See you at Dreamforce!
